Jeremy Groves is a consultant intensivist at the Chesterfield Royal Hospital.  He is a member of the ICS Council.  In discussion of policy he aims to ensure the voice of the smaller critical care unit is taken into account.  In addition to his work for the Society he is a Governor at his Trust and an Assessor for the Intercollegiate Committee for Basic Surgical Examinations.  In his spare time he can be found tinkering with his bicycles or on his allotment.


Alfred Long is Communications Officer in the ICS Secretariat.


Jamie Strachan is an intensive care medicine and anaesthesia ST6 in Oxford, and an elected member of the ICS trainee committee.  Alongside this he is the technology strategy fellow at the Royal College of Anaesthetists.  He started and maintains a website for ICM training in the Oxford region (oxicm.wordpress.com) and also is an editor icmcasesummaries.com a collaborative case sharing site for Intensive Care medicine.


Steve Mathieu is a Clinical Director and Consultant in Intensive Care and Anaesthesia at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, UK. He is co-editor of the The Bottom Line and ICM Case Summaries. He also has developed and maintains the Wessex ICS and Portsmouth ICU sites. He is interested in how IT and social media can be used for personal development and education, and patient and relative experience.
